Just leaps & Bounds

So I optioned first a 2019 Ram Bighorn,8.5 inch nav loaded screen,Level II package,4x4,3:92 axle ELocker,6ft bed.Got pricing from 5 Ram dealerships.Went to 3 Ford dealership’s and all of them never beat the price of the Ram 1500.And these were either ordered or on lots F-150 XLT trim with upgraded to 5.0L V-8 I did not want the V-6 TT turbo engine option to much money with 10 speed.Chevy’s trucks interior was even close in terms of comfort and center-stack just look old schooled.Both the Ford and the Chevy were more money or with in 900.0 dallors of the Ram 1500 but the styling and interior was just way better than the Ford F-150,and the Silverado...GM was not discounting hardly at all so the dealers were bring the price down on there side..Ford F-150’s interior was well just cheap looking with the small screen and hardly had no center storage because the shifter was there,not like the Ram 1500 had. The Ram 1500 center console is just way better design by a mile...Test drove all 3 and the Ram with the coil spring rode the best hands down and was far quieter inside while driving in city traffic during rush hour..My previous truck was a 2014 Ford F-150.I was a brand loyal kinda guy but after all the trips to these dealerships it became evident the Ram 1500 was the easy choice with my hard earn dallor.. - 5.0
Best ram I have ever owned

I don think there is a truck on the market today that can match the 2019 ram I have the Laramie 4x4 I have had many rams 1500 in the past.I have also had GMC and CHEVY and FORD this 2019 ram is by far the nicest and most comfortable and best looking truck i have had - 3.0
Wait till 2020

Bottom line, I would recommend everyone wait until the 2020 models arrive before you purchase a 5th gen RAM 1500. I got lucky and found mine slightly used which saved me a lot off the 1st years depreciation, but I have had numerous small issues from not being able to connect the Sirius/XM, to rattles caused by the factory stereo, to brake squeals at 8K miles. I suppose that with any new vehicle launch there are bound to be problems that take time to correct, but at a $67K MSRP for a fully loaded Limited there are just too many issues to overlook. RAM did not properly quality check this truck and IMO we are paying for it. It’s a beautiful truck with lots of features and cool options but to enjoy them you’ll have to put up with tons problems and multiple trips to the dealer service department. If that’s ok for then you’ll likely love this truck, but I personally feel like at this price RAM should have delivered us something better.
